NEW MUMS! What kind of health screening stuff do newborns have to endure nowadays??

been ages since I had my last child (2003!) what aspects of health screening now apply to enfants please.

Do they still do the heel prick test?

Yes they do. dd2 had a hearing test in hospital instead of the one they used to do at 6 or 8 months. They put some sort of probe thing in her ears, she slept through the whole thing.
