Those who have had eBay nappy auctions cancelled

Did you still have to pay your listing fees? Or did they refund?

why did ebay cancel nappy auctions? [confused!]

Because of some wanky directive that nappies come under the category of "used uinderwear"

[miffed face] ME!
SO irratating, I knew I had bought used nappies on there before, and then got this stupid email an hour before my listing ended.
They do refund listing fees etc.

Is there a petition or anything going about this?

Surely it is no different to buying other used clothes on ebay? They are washed.

the amount of shite they do allow on ebay you would think they would allow nappies fgs. Nothing helpful to add, just wanted to express my bemusement!

I just sent off some horror used breast pads, will they ban these too?! Gosh I really am narked aren't I?!

Presumably this is policy across the whole of ebay now, not just uk? If anyone can confirm that I can probably get a lot of signatures from friends overseas who would be very interested.

I have signed the petition. I had two listings removed. I was not aware of this new (ridiculous) rule. I had listed 2 nappy wraps and those were removed. Er, they get as close to the baby's bottom as a pair of shorts worn over underwear!! Madness!

weird thing is that they are letting auctions run as have seen a few used nappies on there.

i think it depends on make of nappy,how you word it etc.stupid rule.baby clothes get covered in poo,sick,food etc,so long as theyre clean it shouldnt matter.
