I am so proud of myself - made the transition to reusables! :)

The thread title says it all.

Ds is 10 weeks old and yesterday I dared to break out the reusable nappies. Well, they didn't leak, I now use fleece liners so bottom isn't too wet, and he seems happy enough. In fact, when I put the real nappy on him, he doesnt complain like he d6es with disposables.

I am still using disposables in my going out bag and at night, but other an that I use reusables all day. I washed some yesterday too, just to try it out, and they were dry by evening (outside on the line), and they actually came out clean. There is so much less waste it is amazing. I am so proud of myself!

Good for you, well done.

Remember you can wash baby clothes, towels etc with the nappies so washing isn't too much of a chore (god, without my nappies I don't think I'd ever do any washing!).
