Does anyone want to write my essay for me? It only needs to be 2,000 words!

Just a wee quote from Oscar Wilde 'Books are well written or badly written. That is all!' and a bit of debate about instrumentalism and astheticism. If you could relate OW's quote to a Katherine Mansfield story (preferably Miss Brill) and a couple of key passages from Lewis Grassic Gibbon's Sunset Song... that would be perfect. Don't worry I'll sort the bibliography if that saves you a bit of time.

I'm just popping into the bath, so if you could just post your essays here so that I can cut and paste the best bits..........

Thanks!

It's now getting to the stage of being ridiculous (my lack of work on essay). So..... it's time for me to go to the local cafe and study! Then I wouldn't be tempted by daft things and MN (or the phone).

Plus... I'm starving and don't like anything in the fridge today.

See you on the other side!

Good plan marsy.

How does it work?

Do you write your essays by hand or take a laptop with you?

Desperately seeking better study strategies here!

MarsLady · 28/03/2007 16:41

I write by hand, then when I go to type it up I think.... "oh that doesn't work. What I wanted to say was....."

Also, I get a bacon sarnie and a cup of tea!

I did really well today, but I don't think I have enough time to complete this. I've a lady who's about to call me and a tutorial to go to tonight. Sigh.........

If only the cafe was open 24hours! I'll get back tonight and the first thing I'll do.... because I'll want to type up my essay (not that I've even written it yet) is check out what's going on on MN. Sigh..........

Well yours sound a little more fun (if you can even call it that!) than mine!

Anyone want to venture an intelligent opinion on whether the directors' duties in the Companies Act 2006 will be good for British businesses!?

1500 words please.

MarsLady · 28/03/2007 16:44

I was trying to think up 1500 ways to say no! Guessing that's not quite what you had in mind?

OP posts:
Molesworth · 28/03/2007 16:49

I write all my notes by hand, but when it comes to TMAs it all happens on the computer (not particularly good practice for exams ).

Can you get an extension for yours mars?

LittleSarah: is yours as dull as it sounds or is there a hidden dimension of interestingness I just can't see?

Indith · 28/03/2007 17:53

Oh dear how much cr*p can a Guide unit and a Brownie pack get into one cupboard? Got back a few mins ago, feeding ds now, bathtime at 6 then feed and bed then feed me thn get to Guides for the last meeting of term. essay? what essay? Think I need to adopt the hand writing policy too to avoid MN and facebook!

MarsLady · 28/03/2007 17:54

I can... but I got one for the first one and I don't want to push my luck. If necessary I'll ask for one. I'll see what her mood is like today! Gulp!!!!!!!

OP posts:
LittleSarah · 28/03/2007 18:51

Oh no, no interesting dimension, dull, dull, dull. And I actually don't mind business law, but this essay is driving me quietly insane.

MarsLady · 29/03/2007 03:33

Got an extension cos my client phoned mid tutorial! And my tutor is away for a week from Wednesday so she said I could take my time but not to get too far behind cos the essays get longer.

OK, guys, this one will be like falling off a log. I'm prepared to throw in a free trip to Hughendon Manor for the whole family, plus babysit dc while you get on with your work.

A mere 1000 words on "Forming your own impressions as you move round the house, in what way does the house - its architectural style, internal layout, furnishings and memorabilia - reflect the public and private lives of Benjamin and Mary Anne Disraeli?"

I will also throw in lunch/supper for your dc.

No fruit shoots or sausage rolls will be served.

Has to be in by end of next week. Any takers?

sunnyjim · 29/03/2007 15:31

how about 2000 words on the roles of power and interdependance in trade liberlisation in internaitonal relations

if you could summerise the realist and liberal schools of thoguht on trade theory, reference mexico joining NAFTA and show an in depth understanding of India's poltical influcencs in its move towards trade liberlisation that would be great.

Indith · 29/03/2007 15:31

How are the essays?

Ds decided sleep is even more not for him than it used to be and that days are for crying in. I'm off to clean the bathroom, words typed into an essay right now don't make much sense.
