Hi all....

Baby number 3 is due in July and dh and I have decided we would like to use reusable nappies..

I want just plain white ones.. in cotton/terry towling with velcro..

What else do I need..?
Where is the best place to get them?
Do you use reusable liners or disposable?
If reusable do you just throw poo down the loo? (silly question really!!)
How absorbant are they for night times.. and for day time.?
Do they have to be changed after one wee?
How many will I need?

Your help is greatly appreciated..

Thank you..

If you can't find anyone in rl then a starter kit could be the way to go - 1 of each of several types of nappy, you then work out what you like best and buy a full amount from there.

hi twoplus, i am in germany in osnabruck, its about 2.5 hours from you and i am using reusable. i use totsbots, checkout the website for more info here

have a look in Babyone, as they stock popolino which is a similar systems to tots and would give you an idea of what the shaped terry nappies look like. i wouldnt buy from them as they dont have alot of choice but most online retailers will deliver to bfpo or even your german address. ive had nappies from the nappy lady and babykind delivered to my flat (i know we're not supposed to but it was quicker than going through the bfpo system at the time)
