my daughter is 9 months old now and we done the traditional shaving of the head (with brand new clippers shaved to low level one) when she was 2 weeks old.
her hair has grown curly and nice mixedrace type hair I use a product called "pink" to keep her hair moisturised and recently I've noticed some split ends is this a nutrition problem or just a natural thing?

It's a thing in Chinese culture as well. You're supposed to shave the baby's hair when it's one month old and it'll ensure a nice thick head of hair. Nowadays it's quite common to just clip off a symbolic lock though.
