Any tips welcome. My DD (aged 3) was a very contented baby, slept from the start, very biddible (sp?) easy to entertain, great company, fun. Even the pregnancy was easy apart from the end when I got an emergency section

My DS (aged 2), from conception I felt sick, felt tired most of the pregnancy, relatively easy birth but from the start he bawled and fed like nothing on earth. Never slept through the night until well past a year and now he still wakes up and bawls. He's like a stroppy teenager, crap at eating, takes longer to get over bugs and is such ruddy hard work. Thankfully he is totally gorgeous and utterly adorable but I just can't help thinking that he's going to be hard work forever.

Think it must by second child syndrome you could be talking about my DS and DD in reverse. DS (7) was exactly as you describe your DD and DD (2) as your DS (except for the sleeping).

No, it's all random. Not dependant on gender or order.
