What does the tooth fairy do with all the teeth in your household?

I have just collected the 7th out of an eventual 40 teeth (by the time the youngest has lost all their teeth too). I cherished the first one from pfb and put it away safely. Not sure I want 40 of them lined up in my bedside draw in a few years time though Confused Is it bad form just to start binning them all??!

Bin them all. I've not kept one

mininionsteve · 14/04/2017 21:56

My mum has a couple of trinket pots filled with me and my brothers teeth. Bit creepy now we're 30+ yrs old! Now wondering what il do with my sons. Probably the same in the end!

HirplesWithHaggis · 14/04/2017 21:56

I came on to say, "builds castles" but I see that's not the question. Grin I think the very first teeth are still in a box somewhere, no idea what I did with the rest. But then, DS2 is nearly 27...

We have most of mine and all of the kids. They are kept in pot on the mantlepiece.
Given how much the tooth fairy and the dentist have been paid they are worth their weight in gold.

georgedawes · 14/04/2017 21:59

Put them in the bin!

bluebelltippytoes · 14/04/2017 22:02

Ugh! Stick them in the bin. What would you keep them for?!

Natsku · 14/04/2017 22:04

Only two have dropped out so far, after the first one DD asked to stop playing 'tooth fairy' because she wants to keep her teeth in a box. So yeah, her teeth are in a box and I guess the rest will go there too.

lockie1983 · 14/04/2017 22:05

Ugh bin them! My mum says it's bad luck to keep hold of children's teeth mad old gypsy Wink I just think storing jars of teeth is damn creepy and like something from silence of the lambs!

TheTurnOfTheScrew · 14/04/2017 22:05

bin. they're not really much different from toenail clippings IMO.

superram · 14/04/2017 22:06

I left them in a drawer for my child to find-bloody tooth fairy had to write a fricken note explaining she had too many teeth to carry. Cue more letters demanding answers to 7 year old's questions. Bin them!

MilkTwoSugarsThanks · 14/04/2017 22:07

Feck knows. I keep randomly finding them in drawers and pen holders. DS is 12 and hasn't lost a tooth for years Confused

Throws them in the bin. Wouldn't want to keep them.

Tooth fairy doesn't visit. DC keeps them in a jar.

Heirhelp · 15/04/2017 17:59

My MIL thought I would want DH's baby teeth.

kingscrossnoodle · 15/04/2017 18:01

I bin them. I can't see why people keep them for their kids to see. If my parents presented me with a load of old teeth when I was an adult I would be horrified
