I was wondering, what for everyone was the trigger to "try" cloth?

Also, where did you go for info to start with?

never considered not doing cloth. I'm slightly green I guess, didn't want to be throwing all that stuff away when I could reuse.
A couple of friends used MEOS on their L/Os , talked to nappy lady advisor and dh routlled about the web,we started out with some new bimbles and bumbles and a few other brands on loan from a friend then picked up some 2nd hand MEOS and Nappy nation and freebi little lamb.

Our GP's had an poster for the local nappy laundering service, so I gave them a ring and it all started from there.

We are both a bit green and recycle as much as we can. Plus the cost issue really helped. Bought nappies for DS and can now use them again when no 2 arrives in August and you can't do that with disposables!

Never used reusable with dd and am a bit gutted about that looking back as i feel i missed out on some fun! This time a friend uses them and i could not beleive how funky and lovely and soft they are so i researched everywhere and became a true nappy bore/ addict. I just love buying them and hanging on my line is such a thrill (i know i know!!), anyway my dh has banned me from buying anymore so not wanting to miss out on my obsession i am in the early days of running my own nappy business - eeek!. Oh its like a kid in a candy shop for me!! Definetly a cloth thing as oposed to a get rich thing though lol!
