Can anyone tell me what these are.
The Mum of the baby I'm caring for (foster carer)Has asked me to get some of this and give to the baby. He is quite colicky (sp)I've never heard of them and am wary of giving him anything I don't know about. He is only 6 weeks old btw.

I have used them before

couldn't tell you what they contai though sorry, was a long time ago I used them

NAB3 · 07/03/2007 10:45

I would be surprised if a 6 week old is teething and I wouldn't use them on a child so young myself.

TrinityRhino · 07/03/2007 10:45

any help?

He's not likely to be teething at 6 weeks old though is he. Why can't I find my HV when I need her?

Not for colic, thats for sure. I wouldnt expect a 6 week old to be teething either.

I thought they were for teething too - and they don't work either!

Not sure if they contain camomile though; I bought some camomile sachets from Boots and they worked well.

Thanks everyone. It does say used for colic on these reviews Trinity but associated with teething. I'm still waiting for my HV to ring me back before I give him anything though.

DetentionGrrrl · 07/03/2007 11:53

i swear by them for teething. no experience of colic though, sorry.

there's no paracetamol in them, and you can get them in Boots and other local chemists.

LieselVentouse · 07/03/2007 12:19

I used them for colic

Flower3554 · 07/03/2007 12:50

Yeah I probably started using then as well, on the advice of the HV

DetentionGrrrl · 07/03/2007 14:13

you can give half a wrap for under 6mths, a whole wrap of them for 6mths and over.
