What to do to if your baby doesn't like tummy time?

My 3 month old has reflux and hates being put on her tummy I've tried everything....having her on her tummy on my chest, on my lap, on a pillow, her mat she just instantly cries and when she is on her tummy she doesn't raise her head and other babies I know younger than her do :( what should I do ??

Don't worry about it. Tummy time is relatively new thing plenty of babies have been fine with out it. I've got 4dc I did it with my first, second when I remembered and rarely with 3 and 4 as the got stood on by a small child or the dog.

Don't worry about it. Dd hated it too so I didn't do tummy time. She was soon rolling and crawling with the rest of them!

Dont worry. My DD had colic so was in a sling most of the time. She has a normal head and neck despite not rolling onto her tummy until she was 7 months.

She is starting to roll and when she's sat up her necks still pretty strong so I'm not too worried :) thank youu :)

Sling time actually counts as tummy time because it uses the same muscles.

Time in a sling also counts I think? That could be a nice alternative and great for reflux babies.

I didn't do tummy-time. DS hated it. He's fine.
I didn't do nappy-free time either as I couldn't be bothered with the consequences.

I wouldn't worry about it. DS1 hated tummy time with a passion. Would scream the place down if I so much as thought about putting him on his front. So I didn't. He's 5 now, rather boisterous, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with his neck muscles.

Don't do it. Not sure tummy time was around when i was a baby an my head doesn't loll around like a floppy cock.

We didn't really do it either, as DD hated it. Never made a blind bit of difference, she started doing it herself once she learned to roll and then started to like it. So don't worry - try it if you can, but don't sweat over it :)

Most babies start of Hating it, with any babies I've looked after I try to do a few minutes a day and build up till they can tolerate it longer.

But I really wouldn't worry too much, he'll be rolling soon and get there by himself if he so chooses

Didn't do it. DS1 walked at 9 months and DS2 is 8 months and almost there. I did, however, carry them both in a sling all the time - this has similar benefits, I believe?

With a reflux baby I'd not even try it, and just have a lot of sling time instead, if you've got a decent sling. If not, Google your local sling library and you'll be able to borrow one and see if you both like it.

No such thing when DS1 was small and for DS2 he never went down on the floor but I did carry him around upright a lot as he never wanted to be put down. They're both fine.

Don't worry about it, she'll be just fine.

Wasn't a thing in 1999 or 2002 and they both crawled/walked fairly early and are completely normal teenagers now. Don't worry.

Stick her in a sling if you are worried. DC1 was the same then suddenly he started to like it.
