Increased research within Psychology has focused on the positive factors surrounding caring for a child with special needs - I wanted to expand on this within my own research! My research focuses on Post Traumatic Growth (PTG) in mothers, and how various factors can contribute to achieving different levels of PTG
o Definition of PTG: a positive psychological change in personality, experienced by the individual, as a result of challenges or adversities the individual may have experienced
