Ever noticed how some people will hold a baby who has either clearly just woken up or fed and incessantly bounce them until they fall asleep again or puke? My brother in law seems to keep bouncing my 9 week old and it's clear she wants to interact... Then when she falls asleep he seems surprised. He has 2 kids of his own too. Today I asked him not to keep bouncing her as a. She'll get used to it and b. He ought to talk to her. Did I do right?
I have no idea why it irritates me so much but it really does. He always seems to wake her up while she's sleeping too so I've started putting a black insect net over her car seat once she's dozed off so he can't squish her cheeks/rub her hands until she wakes up. Do I need to chill out?
