So my daughter refused to sleep in one when she was a small baby but I was considering trying again now she's almost 10 months old with Winter coming. Are Grobags really all that?

We're currently on a mattress on the floor and she sleeps on her mattress right next to me (long story; but we basically tried and failed to wean her off of co-sleeping) but likes to crawl into our 'bed' in the early morning. Would a Grobag make this awkward or risk her overheating if she sleeps with us?

And I've always wondered about baby's heads; won't they get cold? She has practically no hair! The room isn't cold by any means but then would a Grobag even be necessary?

DS 16 months has been in his every night since he was big enough and I'm just about to order the next size up. Hoping to keep him in them until we convert to a bed, so around age 2? He does sleep in his cot though, and obviously has known no different.

My DS is still in them at 2. In fact I am quite worried about how we'll ever manage a duvet -he wriggles all over his cot and often sleeps widthways.

We tried introducing them later on and it did not go down well. So we gave up, our DD prefers to be able to move her Les and kick her blankets off. We've got an standalone little plugin oil radiator in her room which works well keeping it warm, although may not be ideal in your situation.
