My skinny minnie dd isn't getting on with our cloth nappies...

She's just turned 5 months old, and is 13lb 11oz, and seems rather long. I've bought a lush selection of fluffles, coloured and unbleached tots, and kissaluvs for her, in size 1, and motherease wraps (both airflow and rikki)

But everytime she wears them she has red welts around her stomach, like they're too tight (the tots are all nippas so I do adjust the nippa) but if I loosen the wrap, the poppers or the nippa they just aren't snug and her poo will leak.

Ds had these fine, but he was a huge baby so I'm wondering if her shape is making the difference.

Also I was wondering if there's anything slimline anyone can recommend? The sheer bulk looks a little odd on her!

Swaddlebees are very slim and absorbant too (I'm thinking of the velour ones rather than the pockets).

You could try a Onelife wrap, they are the same design as airflow but the binding is softer, so that may help

weenees pouch pants are really trim and easy to adjust with velcro. we use them with hemp fleece folded into pads (bought from babeco.co.uk - weenees from from lollipops)

My dd2 is rather skinny too. She's now 7 months - at 6 months she only weighed 12lbs 12oz. I'm still squeezing in to her size 1 diddy diapers (a bit low in the rise on her now). I've just ordered some size 2s as I've found them simple for dh and fairly slim fitting - don't know what the size 2s are like though. Also have some wam bamboo, which are lovely and slim - highly recommend those.
