Anyone in Winchester, Romsey, Southampton got keen swimmers?

We are relocating to Hampshire (Romsey area) and I need to find a decent pool/instructors for 3 children aged 8, 5 and 3, preferably with diving facilities. The eldest is ready to compete. Any tips? Any views on The Quays or the Penguins Swimming Club in Winchester? Thanks in advance.

That takes me back. I was a Penguin until about 1982! I really have no idea of how they are doing now, but they were a good club then.

There is no diving facility at Winchester pool, I dont think.

I have a friend whose son trains at Fleming Park in Eastliegh. He lives in the Ringwood area ,but they also do training at Littledown In Bournemouth.DOn't know about diving ,imagine The Quays to be fairly good though.

The Quays is a Centre of Diving Excellence or something like that so that would be the best place to start for the diving.

My DSs have lessons at Shirley poool which is a bit skanky but the lessons are very good - particularly for younger swimmers - i.e. the small pool is really warm and very shallow
