My mum threw away all my toys/books etc, and I've been buying the things that obviously made an impact on me on ebay.

Things I'm passing on to my kids...

Old style ladybird books

Old records - Thomas the Tank Engine (Jonny Morris, William Rushton), The Funky Gibbon, Wind in the Willows

Old TV - Mr Benn, Trumpton, Camberwick Green, Chigley (and dd has watched Fame once or twice

A generalised sense of angst.

need to have a good root around mum/dads attic to see what's up there. J's got some of DH's books from his nan's house.

My DD has my Tiny Tears and Teeny Tiny Tears dolls that I had in the 70's.

Also my favourite green elephant that was knitted for me when I was a baby sits on her bed.

I also gave her my Bible for Children, A Child's Garden of Verses and all my ladybird books and Enid Blyton books.

what else....

Oh, Connect 4 and Operation from the 70's too!
