1st day toilet training ds and I feel like strangling him already!

Went to nursery with pants and did wees on toilet no problem - no accidents.
Came home and proceeded to pee in his pants twice- almost immediately after me trying to bribe, lead, threaten him to the toilet. He kept on saying he'd had a wee wee (hours ago!).
Have tried Dora stickers, matchmakers, cheese strings to try and get him to come to the loo with me. No luck.
He's back in a nappy and I'm in a huff with him!
He's almost 3 btw.
I know its only the first day - but he knows fine what he's sposed to do.

maybe he's not ready?
once you move to pants not so sure you should go back to nappies, you need to be consistant

Ds who is 3.1 is much worse. Its a nightmare. Has only ever done proper wee in potty twice.

School nursery have accepted him in nappy but I have to go into school when he does a poo.
