My scummy twins make their stage debut as a postcard and a thief!

Sorry- insufferably proud mum here and I have to tell someone that my sons were utterly fantastic in their roles at their first assembly today... Twin J was a very gorgeous postcard and showed total aplomb as he was posted into a letter box. Twin D was a worryingly convincing and charming thief, complete with a clearly remorseless expression as he was led to jail by the reception filth, er I mean police. I never knew how talented they were! Honestly- I was v moved. They are so sweet and funny and I love being their mum.

Wow, being posted sounds quite hard! Love the reception filth, it all sounds great.

When my mother was a reception teacher she did a Snow White and the Seven Dwarves play, complete with tiny children walking on their knees

Kaz33 · 28/05/2004 18:19

Bet they were fab, enjoy

That's so nice, I hope that someone has videoed it so you can play it at their 21st and make them squirm

Seriously though, it's moments like that, that make it all worth while, onto the BAFTA's next

Cool, well done Scummytwins - and much credit to their fab mum & dad

for your twins.

How fantastic to find out something new about them. That's one of the wonders of school -showing you qualities you never knew your children possessed.

serenequeen · 28/05/2004 19:55

ScummyMummy · 28/05/2004 20:54

Scummymummy, your boys always sound lovely - even when they are asking you to put a fried(?) egg back together again after the yolk has been broken. BTW, did you cry? I know I would have if it had been my son!

ScummyMummy · 30/05/2004 01:18

Thanks again for all your good wishes, guys. You are all so lovely.

I didn't cry, sis, but I did have a bit of a lump in my throat.
