we had the same problem, now have the padded one from mothercare, cost a lot (about £13), but seems to fit!

we got ours from the great essentials catalogue, it's a potty chair which then unfolds and turns into a step and loo seat. cost about £27. ds1 decided he doesn't like the potty part so has gone straight to using it on the loo. he's 23 mths. worth the money as we'll use it for ds2 in the future, he's only 5 mths.

Thanks guys. Where do you get the essentials catalogue from?

Will look at Mothercare too.

Here's where we got ours from. it's called seat-a-kid
You might be able to find them else where though.

I got the one from Mothercare on with the handles at the side. DS liked this one as he felt more secure when he was sat on it. Now fully potty trained and only needs it when he has to do a number 2!
