I'm planning a trip to the national history museum by train for my 4 year old - who's obsessed with Andy's dinosaur adventures. Has anyone done it and managed to plan the trip around the key places Andy goes to? Like which entrance and which corridors he runs down?

It's always so crowded!! I guess try to go out of school holidays. There is so much to see and do I'm sure you'll have a great time. It is my ds's favourite place.

It's filmed in a museum in Cardiff, I thought.

Main entrance, the bays in the main hall, then the birds gallery or other animal gallery parallel to the main hall, and up the main stairs. Their exhibits are supposed to be upstairs but I suspect those bits are filmed in a studio.
