Hi all...

Just wanted to see if anyone had the same issue as me. Basically for 4 days now my left boob has been really sore. Like a bruised underneath the skin feeling, right under my nipple. I've stopped breastfeeding for a month and a half, though the other side is still producing a little milk. Yet today when I squeezed my left breast, this yellow (non smelly) thick stuff came out, along with watery stuff. I'm worried... has this happened with anyone else before? Is it to do with stopping breastfeeding? Is this normal. Had no problems up until now. Also possibly pregnant... could this be a cause of painful werid leaking boobs? Help me!

Becky

Does it look like colostrum, maybe? No similar experience here, but you could report your post to have it moved to Infant feeding, where people might have a better idea.

You need to get to gp ASAP. It could potentially be an abscess which needs antibiotics. How do you feel in yourself? Have you done a pg test!?
