Mamans Francaises - advice on schools in London

Help! Panique!
We are likely to move to London next year, and I've just been told by the French school there that there is a looonnngg waiting list esp for the younger classes - ds will be in CP next year and dd in petite section.

My children need the French schooling as it is the only way they can make some substantial progress in the language since dh is their only contact with a native French speaker and he works long hours.

Any mamans francaises out there who know what the entry situation was like at the lycee this year? Does the waitlist ever move or do you have to be Madonna to get in? is there anything we can do to improve our chances on the waitlist? is there a better chance to get into say the Ealing or Wix annex than the maiin S. Ken one? And finally, what can I do if we can't get in this year to continue to support dc's progress.

Merci b!
