Hi ladies, I just wanted to share you with what happened today. We had a nasty shock when our Mothercare My4 choice pushchair with DS strapped in, fell off the edge of the patio. It was only a low edge to the hard standing but the weight of my DS was enough to cut his head. I feel so guilty as I thought I had put the brake on but it rolled off the edge and just tipped right over. My poor DS had a bleeding head which took a while to stop bleeding. He cried for a while but has no signs of concussion although we are keeping a close eye on him. Of course I can't blame Mothercare for what happened but what I can't believe is how he got cut on what I can only think was a hard metal fitting which is there to attach the hood. Why is there no padding there to protect children from this sort of thing happening?? I'd be surprised if DS trusts the pushchair and I am already looking at a new one. Does anyone have any similar experiences or suggestions for a safer pushchair with side padding where the head is?
Thanks in advance x
