My son is entering his school end of year talent show at school next week he is 8 and has aspergers and loves performing and is exceptionally theatrical. He wants to dress up as a girl and do a song he has written about ladies- his teacher has no problem with it and neither do I bit I am worried other kids will laugh at him. Should I stop him or let him be himself?? Thanks xx

Let him do it.

I think people will laugh, but not at him; cross dressing as part of an act is usually meant to be amusing.

It'll be fine
