Angel care monitor in moses basket

Hello Mums net peeps.
Been having a read and love it. Just about to become a daddy for the first time (can't wait) my wife is 39w 1d we are just preping. This my first post, apologies as I have seen previous posts regarding the 'Angel care monitor' but no comments have really answered my question.

We have a moses basket stand downstairs and another in our bedroom. I am going to feed the wire through the basket so it can be plugged in. Will everything be ok/will the monitor still work if we have it plugged in downstairs, then unplug it to move it upstairs and plug it back in.
(Obviously know it won't work when not plugged in)

Hope that makes sense lol
Thank you for any help.
Cheers
Si

I did it with my son (now 4) and it worked fine. Only problems came when he was in the cot and wiggled himself away from the pas and set the alarm off:)

We have this monitor and yes you can move it and plug it in again, it doesn't have to be plugged in constantly. Although I'm guessing when you're downstairs you'll be awake and in the same room so you might end up not needing to use it downstairs
