Baby has a dog hair stuck in throat

My 7week old baby has a dog hair stuck in her throat. She has fed several times since it went in but it doesn't seem to be dislodging and she keeps doing a little gagging type cough and wriggling. She is breathing fine but it's obviously irritating to her. Any advice on how I can get it to shift? I hate seeing her in discomfort!

Ring 111. If she dislodges it and inhales it into a lung it could have nasty consequences.

Just spoke to them. Apparently there's not much we can do - she just needs to cough it up. Poor little lamb!!! Sad

I would go to A&E. It can be very dangerous.Very dangerous.
Don't want to scare you and I hope everything is ok by now.

Thanks Lupo, everything is fine now thank goodness! NHS Direct weren't concerned at all, although I was worried sick. Luckily about 7am she gave a huge cough and must have dislodged it so it's all fine now. Scary though! :-(
