We are thinking of moving that way and will have preschool dd and ds starting primary school in the year we are likely to move. I'm just wondering about good schools/nice places to live to start investigating. Dh is a doctor and will be working at the John Radcliffe for a while.

Though....oooh, I used to love St Giles' Fair. And May Morning, in fact. And nipping next door to play on the punts.
And now I'm descending into childhood memories and really should go to bed

petitfilou - just to echo the others - Oxford is very expensive. Look around Headington if DH wants to be near work - the Headington quarry area may be worth a look? Summertown is defintely expensive. I live in Cowley, which is cheaper (though anywhere within the ringroad will set you back).
