Best things to buy at nearly new sales

I love baby/child nearly new sales! Our local nct and parent groups do them.

My favourite buys are:
-Smart baby clothes (expensive and only worn a little ... so always almost new and cheaper!);
-plastic things like trays, baths etc
-Gro bag sleep bags.

What are your nearly new and charity shop faves? Grin

I love looking through charity shops for merino jumpers, I make my lo super soft trousers from the sleeves for hardly any money! Super easy too. Best NCT finds have been knitted blankets for £1!

How do you make yet trousers from jumpers?

This is the pattern I used, you can use any jumpers really if you're not using the trousers as nappy covers Smile

Just remembered another awesome NCT find- a Handysitt wooden booster seat for £5, we've used it instead of a highchair- total bargain!

In the end we bought 2 stair gates, a bath chair thing, many baby books, some gro bags, and a brand new bottle/food warmer. Smile All under £25.

We get a lot of clothes from the nearly new sales, and I've also had a lot of bro-bags, some wooden building bricks for £1 and various toys and books. We missed the one before our first child was born as we were away but could have got some great bargains.
