Best way to use saline nasal drops on baby?

My baby is very snuffly at the moment and it wakes her up.

I have some saline drops, is there a tried and tested way of using them? I just lie he down and drop them in. Should I then sit her up, feed her before or after?

the ones I have squirt up each nostril. I used to do it last nappy change before bed, just before last feed.

I just lie her down and squeeze hard. It's suggested 15 mins before feed so helps them breathe a bit better.

I don't think it matters when you use them. They basically soften the snot so that it can be either sneezed out (hopefully) or swallowed (ew, I know, but at least it clears the nose). Sometimes breastfeeding straight after will help, because my DD breathes more forcefully when breastfeeding, and often ends up blowing all the snot out onto my boob Blush
