4 yr old DD says a 5 year old hits her on the head

Our 4 year old in nursery tells us that a 5 year old girl she keeps trying to play with has hit her on the head with a bag. She has on three separate days said that this girl has hit her. She has no marks or injuries. Do I speak to the educator or chalk it up to harmless growing up?

It probably is harmless, but I would expect the nursery staff to be used to these sort of questions from parents. Can you simply ask if anything happened?

Just ask the staff

Speak to the staff.

Ok, thanks, I will have a word with the staff.

I could ask the staff if something happend, but they are not around all the time and the place is quite big with the toddlers allowed to roam now and then.

Just ask them. I did this with ds when at nursery and they were already on the case.
