Loactose Free formula - can you use those milk vouchers?

my Sil gave birth to my 2nd Nephew 9 weeks ago but she has just found out he has a lactose intolerance.

she can't breastfeed because she found a breast lump during her pregnancy and as her mother died when she was 3 from breast cancer it has made the entire subject rather touchy and until she knows for certain what the lump is, doesn't want to risk anything.

anyway, she gets those milk vouchers for free milk from the local clinic...does anyone know if she can use themt o get Lactose free milk? the HV didn't know and her clinic isn't open now until wednesday.
she has bought some formula for this week but obviously its very expensive so if they could get it with the vouchers it would be a big help

ahh thanks for that, shall ring her now and let her know...she can get an appt and see what he says.

its actually quite dramatic the difference it has made to him, he has gone from a very whingy constantly (seemingly) hungry baby to a much quieter smiley little chap with a far less stinky nappy lol
