Scenario: In swimming pool, ds practically drowning dd, pushing her under, grabbing her legs, her screaming, crying, me ready to get out of pool...'That's it, we're going home!' dd says 'It's alright,Mummy, I'm faking!'

Miriam. But you are not alone - went to railway museum in York today - lots of harassed parents there too. I got the impression several wanted a 2 day Easter break, not 2 week

Good for me though

yikes, it's great isn't it with everyone else doing lengths or gently bouncy baby in the water and you seem like a raucous family..How old are they by the way? Mine did it only last Wednesday and I got some looks when I kept threatening to go home if they pounced, jumped on each other once more, only 13 days to go...

The 2 days we've had here feels like 2 months.

I am sooooooooooo dreading the summer hols.

sorry

I love them

No lunches to make

no rushing

just playing and treats and fun!

emmatmg · 06/04/2004 21:16

Actually Coddy I agree but I just wish they would do all the 'playing, treats and fun' with less noise. Our house is sooooooooo noisy it's ridiculous.

Frenchgirl · 06/04/2004 21:17

love them too, but dd has 3 weeks at easter and so far, had tummy bug (vomiting) for the early part of last week, and followed on with v v itchy thrush (still has it...). But still, we've got a few 'play dates' at home coming up, and I love taking it easy and just enjoying each other's company. Maybe it's easier with one...
