What time do you give your children their evening meal?

Hi,

I was just wondering whether I feed my children to late and that is why they are bad sleepers? I like us to eat our evening meals as a family its not that late between 5:30 and 6:30pm but both my children who are 20 months and 7 months are really bad sleepers. I was wondering what time other mums give their children their evening meals.

Thank you

DCs aged 2,3 & 4 (sounds good doesn't it?, but 4yo will be 5 in three weeks so I have to overuse that statement while I can) - anyway, they have fruit or crackers at about 3.30pm and we eat dinner between 5.30 and 6pm. They are in bed between 7 and 7.30pm and they all sleep really well.

Well I seem to be a bit odd on this one but ds (2) generally eats his meal at about 4.30 and then will sit up with us and graze at 6.

Actually yawningmonster(love your name),that's probably sensible as my ds gets hungry at that timeand I never have anything prepared so have to fob him off with healthy snacks and risk spoiling his appetite.
