hi there

There dont appear to be any French Speaking Playgroups / Toddler Groups in my Area and I was thinking of setting one up - interested?

I am trying to bring-up my 1yr and 3yr old daughters to speak French and it would be so much easier if they were able to play with children in a similar situation.

Let me know if you are interested.

Hi there, I am french speaking, and live in the Berks/Bucks area, although am actually English. My dh is French and we lived for 5 years in france before coming to the UK to have our son. He's 21 months now and being bought up bilingual. I don't know of any bilingual toddler groups around here, but I know there is quite a strong french community in Beaconsfield/Gerrards Cross. Maybe try and get in touch with local councils there, if it's not too far from you, they might be able to help?

Hi, i am interested too, where about are you thinking of meeting? for me anyday but Thursdays!

evansmummy · 04/10/2006 16:54

Afternoons are better for me cos I work mornings. If the rest of you are better with mornings please go ahead, don't worry about me!

If we do go for afternoons may I suggest a park or something outdoors with a tea hut because mine, for one, wont still in a cafe. Can't remember how old your lo's are, though. What do you think?

mireille64 · 06/10/2006 12:18

hello, yes afternoons are better for me too, Nathan is 13 mths old and won't sit still either.Any suggestion for a meeting place and where? I live near Princes Risborough but could drive to Beaconsfield or near there. Where do you lot live?

evansmummy · 08/10/2006 18:47

We live in Farnham Common, so Beaconsfield sounds perfect. Anyone else?

I guess we could do beckonscot or something, though won't leave us much time to chat! Any other ideas?

mireille64 · 03/11/2006 09:46

Sorry for not coming back sooner but i am now right in the middle of moving, so sorry but cannot meet in Beaconsfield. Hope maybe to speak via mumsnet?

evansmummy · 07/11/2006 18:38

Where are you moving to? Shame about the meet, but hope you manage to find some french-speaking mums in your new area!
