Just printed my final essay for O.U. degree. If I pass the exam in October I will have achieved B.A. (Hons) Humanities, Dip Mus, Dip R.S. (Open). Does anyone else finish their studies this year? I can't believe that after 6 years of study I could be graduating next year. YIPEE!!!!

Yay! Congratulations from me too! I am in the same situation and have just completed my second last essay (got another to do next month - urgh ) before exam in October. When I finish I will have achieved a BSc (Hons) Psychology (Open), which doesnt sound anything like as impressive as yours!!! I had toyed with the idea of taking another course starting in Feb, but my hubby put his foot right down and said that it's time to forget TMAs and tutorials for a while and have a year off. 6 years - feels like I have been studying forever - well done us!

Thanks Scotsbird. My middle daughter is due to enter her final year at Chester University, studying criminology and psychology. Well done us indeed. Where will your graduation ceremony be, do you know?

Faith, well done!! I'm doing humanities too, but am only just starting my second year, I have 90 points at level one. What courses did you do?

Molesworth · 17/09/2006 18:05

Congratulations faith, you must be feeling wonderful!

I'm just starting my second year with the OU now. Have 60 points at level 1 and 15 at level 2 so far. Seems like a huge mountain to climb, so it's great to hear from people who have managed to get to the top. Very well done

There are so many people out there doing OU degrees. Never fails to amaze me, as it's such a committment. Faith, sorry for not replying earlier, but I think I will graduate in Cardiff (as there's no ceremony in Bristol) but am not sure if I will attend. What about you?
How;s everyone's study going - nightmare time of year isn't it, what with exams looming and all?????

Sorry - its been mad here the past week - nothing new there really. Hi lilibet, I did level 2 music, the enlightenment, world religions and from enlightenment to romanticism and level 3 music and world religions this year. Hi Scotsbird, I will - hopefully - be graduating in Cardiff too. I cant wait to strut across that stage, I think we should applaude ourselves at the end of a long hard climb.
