Hi, my 20 week old ds has awful cradle cap. Its thick and smelly, it doesn't peel an is stopping his hair coming through properly. I have taken him to the Drs who gave me special shampoo, it stinks of coal or something. I have to put it on and leave it a few mins.

Anyway, I have been doing this an it has worked a bit, its looser and peeling slightly. But i have found it leaves his skin red and shiny, with a slight rash.

Does anyone have any tips on how to get rid of it without harsh chemicals, i've tried olive oil.

I hear really good things about using head and shoulders!

My 4 month old has it in patches and I think it's getting worse so I'm going to give it a go.
