DD (14mths) likes to sweep the crumbs off the sofa (on to the floor!) and helps me to hang out the washing on to the clothes horse. She quite often then takes it all down and packs it in her 'handbag' and i have to wait until she has a nap before i rescue it and hang it up again.

My mum used to make me and 2 sisters do jobs each night: one washed up, one made the sandwiches for next day's lunchboxes and smallest one dried the cutlery. this didn't have anything to do with pocket money. we earned that doing cleaning chores on saturdays. i used to HATE it, but i'll be doing the same for DD...
