DD 11yrs has attitude! Periods started at 10y.2mth and she is very mature. Just swore so badly at her and told her I am sending her to boarding school. I can't stand the eye rolling, the looks, the tone of voice. I try and try but she still gets to me. It goes on all day every day. She has the best life, lots of love and attention, I just DON'T GET IT. Helpppppppppp

my step son has been like that since he was 10, i havnt cope very well with it. Usually ends up in a full scale row. sometimes i just send him to his room out of my way for his safety as well as my sanity! I would try and explain why you swore and also think back to when you were that age.

She knows exactly why I shouted and swore, for the same reason as every other time I raise my voice. Maybe times have changed but does this really mean kids have NO respect. I never uttered a word wrong when I was growing up, it just wasn't done. DD is very privileged, but should this make her worse? In my opinion, not, but I will not tolerate her attitude and I need to find help. She was on a residential sch trip last week and our house was a haven of bliss, I have a younger DS (7).

think it is youth today, no respect, no understanding of remorse or ramifications of behaviour.
