Is that normal?? Dc1 is just so up in her grill, and i know it is her way of ,playing, (and understand that it hard to play with 6 mth ce wheold). I am not worried about it from a sibling thing, i just feel bad and confused about why find so irritating! I guess i am hoping will change cos am tired of having fixed grin on face when they interacting, or telling off dh who tends to tell dc1 to back off, which i don't think is fair. Argh!

Oh me too! 3.5 year old and 7 month old. In fact she's doing it right now - she's way too rough, "hugs" him i.e strangles him, snatches toys etc. Worse when she's tired. Think she's feeling insecure because he's crawling and getting more attention??

hi countess, objectively it probably is just a reaction to attention - plain old sibling rivalry - i'm just not used to feeling not nice thoughts towards my pfb - sigh! good to hear that it's not just me :)

Wait till DC2 can talk and the arguing starts .. that's when you realise how much of a massive adjustment having two is ..

Sorry lion I feel I missed the point of your OP a bit - yes I do find it extremely irritating, it's normal to feel protective over the baby, while at the same time feeling awful for seeing pfb as less than perfect for the first time Sad . I never shouted at Dd until I had DS ...

Yes! Ds1 is 3 and ds2 21weeks. Ds1 is just all over ds2 never leaves him alone. Winds me up!
