Baby monitors - what do you recommend?

Our DD has finally started sleeping early evening in her cot in our room. We live in flat so we sit in the lounge next door. We can just about hear her sleep music playing and definitely when she cries but I'd feel happier with a monitor, one I could carry round into a different room if needed. Any recommendations? Guess it doesn't need to be too fancy...

We have this one and it's been fantastic over the last 6 months or so no problems so far. http://www.argos.co.uk/product/5446432?store=384&cmpid=GS001&$ja=tsid:59156%7Ccid:596683589%7Cagid:28645056925%7Ctid:pla-196523440405%7Ccrid:96088332925%7Cnw:g%7Crnd:16270172872919770678%7Cdvc:m%7Cadp:1o6&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIrNnOvaen1QIV753tCh1yLAXEEAQYBiABEgJYXXDBwE

But we also have an iPhone/iPad app as a friends 3 year old hid our monitor when visiting and it took ages to find it so needed an alternative. It's really good, you can turn on music white noise and turn it into a light to peer at baby as it doesn't have night vision like th monitor
