Any suggestions where to get smaller tights?

The feet and ankles in all tights are just too baggy and look very silly.

She's 6 weeks. 10lbs but even first size are baggy on her.

Well, if they make tights down to prem size and they don't fit the OP's baby then that does not help her much, does it??

And I never once said babygros till the age of 1. That is fecking insanity. 12 weeks or so. Max.

But I agree with you regarding the poppers - I could only stand those for 12 weeks or so.
Did once buy a babygro with a zip but on a hot day, when ds was not wearing a vest underneath I caught his delicate tummy skin in the zip Blush
So that was not a solution either...

Most people didnt mention babygros Miaow, just questioned the wisdom of tights in August.

I had a weeny baby (5lb 4oz birth weight). I agree with pp the Asda first size tights were good. Also love Mothercare leggings with feet.

yes tights just look weird and baggy on very small babies. legs too scrawny I guess.

no one in this household wears tights from April to September either. different outfit if its cold. tights are horrid and should be kept to a minimum.

but each to their own of course Grin

I don't know about tiny tights, but in this sort if weather and with all the exploding nappies at this age, have you considered baby leg warmers? Perfect for slightly chillier days, easy to change baby and look super cute I think!

pair of socks over the tights, push excess tight into sock to hide it. also do this with too long babygros at night. a revelation

TinyDiamond · 15/08/2013 23:21

if socks are also too big, use sock ons
