I'd say she is a very clever and lovely little girl!

She was clearly saying in her own little way that she loves you but doesnt like what you were saying/doing at the time.

Just an opinion!

Agree - clever her - she knows she loves you, but isn't keen on being told off by you....!

Aw, very astite little girl.

My 4yo told me, also yesterday " mummy, I really love you, but I think I love my chocolate a little bit more at the moment" Hmm, well yes - I can understand that!

Last week, my mate asked her daughter, 3.3, if she could please get out of the car to come inside at the end of a journey as she, Mum, was standing in the rain, getting wet and needed a cup of tea.

Daughter (with a deep sigh, and long look) "It's just all about you, isn't it, Mum??!!"

Bless!

out of the mouths of babes .....

my DS - (nearly 5) yesterday said "dad is good at everything, mum isn't good at anything !" I just spluttered, Dh told him to go and look at the tile grouting I had just been doing and then see if he still thought it.

DS dutifully looked and then came back, looked thoughtful and then said "no - she isn't any good at that either !".
