??????????????????? Blush!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Please help, I've got to sleep in the room in question later and although I've scrubbed the carpet twice it's such a strong smell.
Anyone know of any cleaning product that might help?

Bicarbonate of soda, let it absorb a bit, then hoover it up. I also use lavender and tea tree oil. Good luck!Smile

Soda water to wash then bicarb of soda on nearly dry carpet - hoover off when dry

She threw up yesterday, it's been scrubbed, dried then just scrubbed with carpet shampoo again. Do I need to wait for it to dry again before using bicarb?

Put a folded towel on it and jump on the towel when you've scrubbed the carpet. Then sprinkle bicarb on nearly dry carpet

Thanks you two. How long do I now need to leave the bicarb on the damp patch?

PML - fairyfly!!! and your reply ironmaiden!!!!

Have you tried fairy washing up liquid? Its a powerful fat dispersal which is what causes the smell.

Or maybe that's just milky stuff???? Worth a go though as it workedon my son's vomit just the other day. Brand new carpet...... typical!
