I am thinking of doing this course. Is anyone else currently doing this, what do you think so far and what job are you hoping to get at the end of it? Do you have any advice??? Thanks for your help.

Our lodger is doing this. I think that the main issue is to look at the timing of modules - she seems as if she will have a gap between the end of her current module and next February. I assume that someone else will be along to answer your question in more detail, but if not I'll drag her away from studying (her exam in in June) and get her to answer it.

Yep am doing this degree. Did my foundation year in Social Sciences (DD121 and DD122).. am end of Level 2, Childhood and next year am starting another Level 2, K204 Working with children and families.

The work is fab for this course (U212).. the reading is fascinating and sad in places.. but the workload is quite hard for me to juggle with my lifestyle although am jsut about handling it. (Don't do half as much study as I should.. makes me wonder what my grades would be like if I did...)

I am doing this course starting next week but not through OU - through UHI and it is all online! I will soon be spending a lot less time on mumsnet!
