Have tried
Pampers newborn size 1& 2 - found these ok
Asda newborn - a few leakages
Huggies size 2 - leakages and crystal gel bits around ds's bits a few times
Tesco size 3 - only just bought these so don't know yet.

Which brands do people find the best?

I liked Tesco best. But am about to make the switch to cloth here.

Tesco (4+ or 5s) for DS1 and Pampers Active Fit (size 3) until DS2 is in the same size because I find it hard to tell them apart size-wise!

Cannot cannot cannot face using cloth nappies.

Pampers by far the best.

Huggies leaked, Tescos's leaked and Asdas leaked. Have never had leakage from Pampers and dd has had every type going from them.

Started off with newborn, then went on to active fit and then pull ups.

Ds2 is still in nappies at night - I buy Tesco (size 6) and I think they are just as good as Pampers or Huggies.

Don't use Pampers Baby Dry though. They're not very dry...

all disposable nappies are made by the devil

the crystals are sinister magix which turn your children into dragons

I've warned you

clumsy · 11/05/2006 21:36

have tried all possible 'own' brands Sadfrom asda through to sainsbury's and then found pampers active fit and would not go anywhere else now

NannyL · 11/05/2006 21:59

Kissaluvs and MotherEase Sandys are my all tiem favourite nappies Wink

Hope to try some bamboozles and fluffles in the future!

If i had to use disposablesthan id use the 'nature' ones, or failing that boots own or Tesco own or Asda own.

Personally HATE huggies and dont think much of pampers either

When using disposables I found Cien brand from Lidl to be very good.

I have switched to cloth though, and love Bambino Mio, prefer these to shaped, velcro nappies. Love the Bambino Mio Lite wrap too. Nice and soft, not like a corset! But strong enough and no leaks.

I cant believe that you lot on here talked me into it, but Im so glad you did. I feel almost evangelical about them. (Sorry!).

Little Ewe, Mother-ease and Tots Bots for me.:) economy wise and for performance, but there are quite a few others - Nature Babies, Lovebums, Kissaluvs............etc.........etc.......etc
