one size how do they fit then? have given up on my reusables because i need new wraps as they were all leaking and seems he 2 yr i guessed it wouldn't be worth paying out for wraps that we may only use for a few months.

starlover · 24/04/2006 22:51

no... I got some organic size 2's in the twinkle sale... but I think i shrunk them in the wash because they aren't much bigger than the size 1's! so can't use any of them now! lol

they go round him no problem... they just don't come up very high

OP posts:
picassotriggerfish · 24/04/2006 22:54

Oo OO! I've got some information about the Sandies sizes 1 and 2, there isn't much difference in the actual length - like about an inch, the main diff is the waist. So you probably didn't shrink them Starlover, they just aren't much taller.
Smile

starlover · 24/04/2006 23:14

ahhh! that'll be it!

darn
i need to have another baby now to make them worthwhile! lol

OP posts:
maisiemog · 25/04/2006 00:32

Or squish the baby you have now, smaller, so he fits them.
But probably bigger nappies would be his preference. Grin
Not sure about the having another one to fit the nappies you just bought??? Shock

longwaytogo · 25/04/2006 17:06

mmm now i get it i thought you were saying that they had motherease one size wraps. I've got the nappies just need new wraps bumb no waitrose up here either. oh well disposables it will have to be unless i can find some cheap wraps elsewhere

maisiemog · 25/04/2006 20:38

There are some really good deals on Ebay for wraps.
I saw these large size wraps \link{http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NEW-1-Nappy-Cover-Wrap-LOW-P-P-Size-Large-23-35lbs_W0QQitemZ7761873869QQcategoryZ26269QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem\Junior Joy Size Large} for £2.50 each.
Any good to you?

starlover · 25/04/2006 20:41

oh yeh they had wraps as well.... but the largest they stock is Large I think, which may be too small for him still

OP posts:
longwaytogo · 25/04/2006 21:14

mmm had a look at them can't decide what to do in reality he could be in nappys anything from a month or two to a year I guess. Just can't decide whether to go back to washables or just sell them

maisiemog · 25/04/2006 22:53

I know a lot of babies train in the day, but need nappies at night, so you could always use them then?
How's he looking on the potty training front?

longwaytogo · 26/04/2006 21:32

he keeps saying wee wee and sitting on the toilet with his trousers on usually but its usually so he can wash his hands after but at least he's got he idea and with his big sister being only 13 months older than him he has someone to copy i guess. As for night time nappies have never used them for night as they always soaked through them so have used disposables for night.
