Master of teaching the kids to jump off things/ play ball in the house/throw playdoh 5 minutes before he disappears out of the front door for an easy day at work!

hub2dee · 22/04/2006 21:03

Winding (can get a burp out of any baby!)
Reading stories
Playing daft games with DS while I do other things

Gloworm · 22/04/2006 21:07

(it probably goes without saying that a lot of partners are good at keeping the rest of the family amused while we sit on MN) Grin Grin

DP is gold medal holder at changing mat fun. Usually too much fun just before bedtime!

trinityrocks · 22/04/2006 21:09

giving dd1 confidence to try thing she wont try with me
winding dd2(even though he looks like a giraffe on ecstasy whilst doing it)

emmawill · 22/04/2006 21:09

getting up during the night small children and letting me have lovely lie ins. Making the biggest mess, he's fair messier than our children could ever be!!!!! Grin

swedishmum · 23/04/2006 11:55

Sitting on the toilet for hours.

desperateSCOUSEwife · 23/04/2006 11:58

dh would be a gold medal winner hands down for the following

swilling lager and jack daniels (he can pack them away)

sitting on the bog for hours and using all the toilet roll

hard working

for being a brilliant, caring dad

for giving the kids what they want

fastasleep · 23/04/2006 11:58

Mine would win gold in everything he's perfect, he does everything better than me!! Sad

CorrieDale · 23/04/2006 15:15

Taking DS out for very long walks so knackered mummy can get some kip

jmum6 · 23/04/2006 15:24

My dp - doing the bath/bedtime routine whilst I lay comatose daystairs in front of the tv

Kelly1978 · 23/04/2006 15:51

Moaning!

Raggydoll · 25/04/2006 10:54

IGW, agree on winding - dd is always passed to dh for that last final stubborn buurrrp!

spursmum · 25/04/2006 11:01

Hmmmm My ex wouldn't get to the event!.
He's one of those 'athletes' that you read about that have gone 'missing' during the games, when their visa are about to expire!!
He's the reigning world champion at it.

Miaou · 25/04/2006 11:04

Teaching the dds how to make pom poms. I kid you not.Grin

JackieNo · 25/04/2006 11:05

Definitely doing cooking with DS and DD - he has far more patience than me, and allows them to do far more than I would (in a good wayGrin). Also would win the gold medal for using every single pot, pan and utensil in the kitchen for cooking the most basic things. Need to cut a piece of butter? Use the most enormous Sabatier knife (that won't go in the dishwasher so I'll have to wash it up by hand later). Grrr.

JackieNo · 25/04/2006 11:06

Miaou - lol at pompomsGrin

nowanearlyNicemum · 25/04/2006 11:10

teaching dd the 'gallic' (sp???) shrug
(shoulder action with downturned mouth too - highly amusing!)

Jessajam · 25/04/2006 11:13

Endurance baby-wobbling....ds is one of those babies that loves being in motion in order to settle (keep him still and he sets up wailing)and DH seems to have the magic touch (or at least he used to, I think my intensive training regime may have starte dto show results, and I am now a contender!!)

acnebride · 25/04/2006 11:17

Second great year of world championship in patience - a definite medal contender.
