My almost 7.5 month old started cruising today, she is really keen to walk and keeps letting go on the furniture to walk to me but falls on bum....should I get her a baby walker or are they bad for baby? I've herd conflicting things.

Thanks!

The physio that came to talk to our mums group was anti the sit in walkers because they encourage the muscles o develop in an unbalanced way. They basically push with their feet to propel themselves but you don't just do that motion when you're walking. As someone mentioned before, they encourage little ones to walk on their tip toes rather than walking properly.

The seat ones are banned in Canada www.hc-sc.gc.ca/cps-spc/child-enfant/equip/walk-marche-eng.php
