Ok

Potty training is 100% spot on.
DD will use the potty or toilet at home. She will go to it herself and do the business, if she has nothing on her bum.

When we are out she will use the toilet but only if we take her.
She won't ask.

Now, the problem we have is that if she has pants on at home she will remember probably once to pull them down to go to the loo but after that she wets them.
Once they are wet she insists on taking all her clothes off and thats that!

I cannot understand why of all places, she wets herself at home but when we leave the house she's perfect. I thought it was supposed to be the other way round?

I'm really pleased with her progress so far as she is only just 2.4.

Has anyone else had a similar problem and if so, how did you solve it?

I have to go now but will check back later today.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

TIA

hi ds was exactly the same and heis the same age. Ds trained about 6 wks ago at 2.2/2.3 and it was hard to grasp at first. I think when they are at home with pants on they think it is a nappy and they relax. It took 3-4 days of undies and trousers for him to realise he wasnt wearing a nappy. I also made a point of telling him quite often that we dont have nappies now only undies which get wet.

Thanks for the reply Nemo.

I knew we would have some accidents in the pants but it seems to have been gong on too long now.
I thought she would have grasped the difference between Nappies and Pants.

She hasn't had a pull up on in the day for ages now, only when she goes to bed and even then it is literally put on the second before she gets in to bed.

Maybe it's just me then and I need to keep on at it.
